How to Get Here
Step-by-step directions from Cape Town (left) and from Hermanus (right).
🚗 From Cape Town
- Take the N2 towards Somerset West and continue past Somerset West.
- Continue over Sir Lowry's Pass.
- Pass the Grabouw/Elgin turnoff and continue on the N2 for approximately 10km.
- Look for the "Back 2 Basics" sign on your left.
- Turn left and follow the dirt road for 2km to the campsite.
🚗 From Hermanus
- Take the R43 towards Bot River.
- At Bot River, turn onto the N2 towards Cape Town.
- Continue for approximately 20km.
- Look for the "Back 2 Basics" sign on your right.
- Turn right and follow the dirt road for 2km to the campsite.
