Main Camp More info:
The Main Camp's facilities is divided into 2 parts to accommodate men and woman separately. This makes school and other larger groups much easier to manage.
Accomodation:
There are 6 Army tents in the Main Camp.
On the women's half of the camp:
- There are 2 Army Tents that 5m x 10m in size that can each sleep 28 people on bunk beds and mattresses.
- There are 2 Army Tents that are 5m x 5m in size that can each sleep 14 people on bunk beds and mattresses.
On the men's half of the camp:
- There are 2 Army Tents that 5m x 10m in size that can each sleep 28 people on bunk beds and mattresses.
- Extra sleeping is easily arranged by pitching dome tents to accomodate any extras.
If your group will be larger than 148 people, we simply pitch more dome tents to accommodate your needs.
If your group is over 200, we recommend that you hire both the Main Camp and the Bush Camp simultaneously.
Ablution Facilities:
There are 2 main ablution facilities in the Main Camp.
On the the woman's half of the camp:
- There is 1 Main Bathroom facility that has 3 toilets and 3 showers
- Tented Showers provide 4 more showers
- There are also 2 rustic outdoor toilets and an amazing outdoor bath for the adventurous at heart.
- All the showers on camp make use of gas-operated geysers which means that the warm water won't run out!
- Extra ablutions will be organised as the need arises.
On the men's half of the camp:
- There is 1 Main Bathroom facility that has 3 toilets and 3 showers
- Tented Showers provide 4 more showers

Kitchen Facilities:
The kitchen is situated right next to the Hall area.
The Kitchen makes use of a garage door for serving. Simply open the large roll-up and serve right out of the kitchen - this makes catering for large groups a breeze.
The kitchen contains all the necessary equipment for all your catering needs:
- 2 large gas operated ovens with 6 gas burners each.
- Large 4-plate gas burners for quickly cooking or warming up large meals.
- 1 deep freezer 4 Large Fridges for all your cooling needs
- Stainless-steel tables
- Pots, pans and other cooking utensils - please contact office for detailed list.
- The indoor braai area is also next to the kitchen and is large enough to allow for 3 to 4 braai grids to be used at the same time.
Hall:
The Hall is perfect for lectures of indoor games.
It can easily seat 200 people on chairs and makes giving lectures or playing indoor games possible - no matter what the weather looks like.
To make the Hall area as comfortable as possible:
It has fold-up sides to allow proper airflow during hot summer days and makes it easy to close up to keep in the heat during the winter nights.
It has tables and chairs ready to be packed out to accommodate any need you might have. This also servers as an eating area during breakfast, lunch and dinner times.
It is situated right next to the kitchen which allows for problem free organising and catering for large groups.
Boma:
Social time with bond-fire and story-telling made easy.
The boma is a dedicated braai area built in a circular "kraal" shape to ensure that everyone can see everyone while braai-ing or socializing around the campfire.
It has the following:
- Braai area in the middle of the all the chairs.
- Chairs and tree stumps neatly packed around campfire
- It's own washup area and bar-style table for serving drinks and food.
Perfect for small parties and get-togethers.
The Boma also doubles as a smoking area as the campsite is a smoke-free area.
