Bush Camp More info:

The BushCamp’s facilities is designed for smaller groups up to 100 people. This makes it ideal for school and other smaller groups to get the most our of their stay.

There are 3Army tents in the Bush Camp.

Women’s facilities on camp:

There is 1 Army Tents that are 5m x 5m in size that can each sleep 14 people on bunk beds and mattresses.
Extra sleeping is easily arranged by pitching dome tents to accomodate any extras.

Men’s facilities on camp:

There are 2 Army Tents that 5m x 10m in size that can each sleep 28 people on bunk beds and mattresses.
There is 1 Army Tents that are 5m x 5m in size that can each sleep 14 people on bunk beds and mattresses
Extra sleeping is easily arranged by pitching dome tents to accomodate any extras.
If your group will be larger than 48 people, we simply pitch more dome tents to accommodate your needs.

If your group is over 200, we recommend that you hire both the Main Camp and the Bush Camp simultaneously.

Ablution Facilities:

There are 2 main ablution facilities in the Bush Camp.

Women’s facilities on camp:

There is 1 Main Bathroom facility that has 3 toilets and 3 showers
All the showers on camp make use of gas-operated geysers which means that the warm water won’t run out!
Extra ablutions will be organised as the need arises.

Men’s facilities on camp:

There is 1 Main Bathroom facility that has 3 toilets and 3 showers

Kitchen Facilities:

The Kitchen in the Bush Camp consists of two sections:The kitchen is Army style in a big 5m x 10m Army tent.

  • A storage area for the fridge and freezer, along with all the food for the camp.
  • A 5m x 10m Army tent complete with steel tables and oven

The kitchen contains the basic equipment for your catering needs:

  • A gas operated oven with 4 gas burners.
  • Two 4-plate gas burners for quickly cooking or warming up large meals.
  • 1 deep freezer and 1 large fridge for all your cooling needs
  • Tables to help with cooking, serving and dining
  • Pots, pans and other cooking utensils – please contact office for detailed list.
  • The outdoor braai area is also next to the kitchen and is large enough to allow for 2 braai grids to be used at the same time.

Hall:

 

The Hall is a big Marque tent.

It can easily seat 150 people on chairs and makes giving lectures or dining under cover possible – no matter what the weather looks like.

To make the Hall area as comfortable as possible:

The Marque tent has power points and is separately to the campsite to allow for those in the tent not to be disturbed by the rest of the camp.

It has tables and chairs ready to be packed out to accommodate any need you might have. This also servers as an eating area during breakfast, lunch and dinner times.

It is situated right next to the kitchen which allows for problem free organizing and catering for large groups.
